[Vbb 3.8.x] Chatbox ở host free - ChangUonDyU - Extra File Chatbox 1.0

Vì để tiết kiệm bandwidth chatbox ở host free ra đời để đáp ứng nhu cầu này

ChangUonDyU - Extra File Chatbox 1.0 - Mod Chatbox ngoài host được sử dụng cho các Website đang chạy host free hoặc sử dụng các HP của VN nhưng không cho phép sài các Mod Chat vì do Request đến server quá nhiều ảnh hưởng đến các khách hàng khác!
- Vì vậy, ChangUonDyU - Extra File Chatbox 1.0 ra đời nhằm giúp cho các bạn tiết kiệm được BW của hosting đang sử dụng làm forum cũng như dùng để chạy trên các HP cung cấp Hosting VN không cho phép sử dụng các Mod Chatbox nói chung!

Chức năng chính:

* Auto refresh ngay trên khung chat nên hoàn toàn có thể thấy được nội dung chat ngay

* Tự động nhận diện các Group trên forum của bạn mà không cần tùy chỉnh

* Chế độ các lệnh sử dụng được: Prune, Me, Ban, Unbad, Notice

* Chế độ không cho group nào đó Chat, không cho chọn màu ở phần tùy chỉnh

* Chế độ Add Smiles tự động bằng cách chạy.ngoài host/thư mục chatbox/tool.php

* Nút Smiles với các nút More Smile (hiển thị các smiles khác), All Smiles (Hiển thị toàn bộ smiles), Close (Đóng khung Smiles)

...... và nhiều chức năng khác mà trong quá trình sử dụng bạn có thể tự khám phá
Cách sử dụng:

* Up toàn bộ thư mục chatbox lên host ngoài hosting đang sử dụng chạy forum!!!
Các bạn có thể reg bất kỳ host free nào để chạy nó!!!

* CHMOD các file .txt thành 777

* Up file fcbsmilies.txt vào thư mục Forum trên host đang sài chạy forum ngang hàng với Index.php và cũng CHMOD thành 777 nhé!
File smiles này sau khi các bạn chạy tool lấy smiles từ bên host free chạy chatbox xong thì có thể lấy xuống và up qua host đang sài vì vậy link hoàn toàn là ở host khác nên không Request đến server!!

Chú ý:

* Sử dụng Tool để add smile thì các smiles bạn phải up lên host đang chạy chatbox để add tự động như add smiles ở VBB nhé!!!

* Nếu sử dụng smiles link từ host khác nữa thì các bạn phải tự add bằng tay mà thôi!!!

- Thực hiện các thiết lập trong file config.php:

- Đối với lệnh ban và unban các bạn khi sử dụng thì sử dụng ban userid và unban userid nhé!!! Có nghĩa là phải sử dụng ID của user đó là bao nhiêu để ban và unban (Ví dụ: ID: xemnao số userid=46 thì khi ban sẽ thực hiện lệnh /ban 46 và khi unban sẽ thực hiện lệnh /unban 46 như vậy là ban xong!!!!)
Người bị ban khi chát sẽ xuất hiện thông báo bị ban khỏi chatbox
- Đối với các 4rum có hình icons trước mỗi group thì xem cái đường dẫn trước mỗi group là gì sau đó tạo thêm trong thư mục Chatbox các thư mục tương ứng!
Ví dụ:
Link các Icons trước mỗi Group trên forum của bạn có dạng .thì các bạn sang host đặt chatbox tạo thêm thư mục Images trong thư mục chatbox rồi tiếp tục group trong thư mục Images vừa tạo rồi up các icons của các group vào đó là xong!!!!!
- Import product ChangUonDyU - Extra File Chatbox 1.0 và sau đó vào phần vboption để thực hiện các tùy chỉnh như hình ở trên!
- Chèn mã lệnh $changfcb vào template Forumhome ở vị trí mà bạn muốn nó hiển thị!!!

How to Fight Spam in Vbulletin


Until recently i have encountered a sudden new attacks of spam registrations and many many spam threads posted in my forum. I just cant figure out how as I have already enabled captcha in registration page and enabled email confirmation. Despite this somehow spammers managed to bypass the registration and managed to post spam threads.
Fighting spam involves great amount of work. Just make sure you do the following settings in your vbulletin forum.
1. Enable captcha and Email Confirmation forum registration page. 
The first step to fight spam is to prevent bots from registering in your forum. Follow the 3 steps.
Vbulletin AdminCP > Vbulletin Options > User Registration Options > Enable Image Verification
Vbulletin AdminCP > Vbulletin Options > User Registration Options > Enable Image Verification
Vbulletin AdminCP > Vbulletin Options > Image Settings > Select GD Library and Random Shapes
If you want to manually approve and moderate new users before they are allowed to post, you can do that as well.
Vbulletin AdminCP > Vbulletin Options > User Registration Options > Moderate New Members
2. Disable URL Links and Signatures
Dont allow newly registered users to post URL links and signatures. Force them to make atleast 15 posts only then they will be allowed to post live URL links to external websites.
To Disable Live URL links:
This wont allow newly registered users to post live links.
To Disable Signatures
Force your registered users to make 15 posts to be allowed a signature. For that you need to do create a new group called Member Group. Only those who had done 15 posts will be automatically moved from registered user group to member group. Member group will have signature permissions. To accomplish this you have to do promotions in vbulletin groups.
1. Go to Vbulletin CP > Usergroup > Registered users > Allow signatures no
2. Create a new group called members Members.
3. Go to Usergroups > Promotions > select posts as promotion strategy > 15 posts.

4. Enable signature to members group and limit signature to one line.
3. Disable Private Messaging.
Private messaging can be exploited by lot many spammers. Disable it
Admin CP > UserGroups > Registered Users > Set Maximum stored messages to 0
This will disable private messaging.
4. Install One click sweep and clean vBulletin Plugin.
If some spammer posts number of theads you have to manually go delete all his posts and then ban the spammer. It would prove lots of hardwork if you have many members spam. With one click clean plugin you point to user and delete all posts and ban him with just one click

5. Contact Form Image Verification.
You dont want spammers to target your contact us form to send spam. To prevent this enable the image verification in vbulletin, so that unregistered users may contact you by verifying a image captcha.
Admin CP > Vbulletin Options > Site Name/ URL / Contact Details >
Allow unverified users to use contact page -> yes, but verify image
Despite this, there are many more methods like adding new field in registration form asking for logical or arithmetic questions.

PM Previews by BOP5 (VB4)

The final & easy ACP bit for ver 3/4.

1. Remember the location of the Link Checker.xml on your computer.

2. Go to your vBulletin AdminCP and click on Manage Products under the Plugin Manager section.

3. Click on Add/Import Product.

4. Click on Browse on the first line (Upload the unzipped Link Checker.xml from your computer) Click on Import to upload it to the system.

5. Click on Plugin Manager, and ensure that the new plugin named Link Checker, which
is found under the init_startup hook, is enabled.

Thats It! this module can be enabled/disabled from the product manager.

I noticed there was a problem with the lytebox conflicting with the new type editor in vb 4.X.X, where the editor Icons were not appearing, below is a fixed lytebox for vb 4.X.X only, just download & overwrite the existing.

This will apply to anyone who downloaded the lytebox for use with vbb 4.X.X only as of the 29th Jun 2011.

[Mod 4.x] Digital Point Ad Positioning

About
This allows you to insert an ad into a random location within the post currently being viewed and/or insert an ad after the currently viewed post.

I made this a couple years ago for internal use and decided to release it because a few people have been requesting it.

Installation
  • Install the product-dp_positionads.xml product under AdminCP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product
  • Go to AdminCP -> Settings -> Options -> Digital Point Position Ads for all your settings/options.

Notes
  • You can control which usergroups see ads.
  • You can control which forums the ads are inserted for.
  • This addon works just fine with vBulletin 3 as well as vBulletin 4.
  • The ads are inserted relative to the currently viewed post, not necessarily the first/last, etc. post in a thread.
  • Requires no template edits.
  • Our ad revenue more than doubled when we implemented this (and we opted to only use it for non-registered members).

[Mod 4.x] Digital Point Spy

About
This is a Digg-style spy for seeing what's going on in your forum in realtime.

This is something I originally made about 4 years ago. Now that I rewrote it for vBulletin 4 (it also now uses the bundled YUI for animation), I decided to also wrap it up as a product package and release it for the world to use.


Installation
Put the spy.php file in your forum folder.
Put the digitalpoint_spy.js file in your clientscript folder.
Install the product-digitalpoint_spy.xml product under AdminCP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product

1.1.0 Update
Moved JavaScript to external file (works around template parsing bug with early versions of vBulletin 4.0.x).
XML generation is done with vBulletin's XML Builder class (let it deal with weird characters).
Switched JavaScript library to from YUI to jQuery (for an end user, it means better animations).
Changed do=xml to do=feed (works around servers that are overly protective and think they are trying to be hacked and blocking the request).

The purpose of this mod is to let users pick a custom font (either from a list you specify or optionally, a custom font they choose) to show up wherever username markup is allowed. (The postbit, profiles, who's online, blogs, CMS, etc...)

This is the free version, you can let users choose a font.

The GOLD version allows users to to choose a font, a font size, and/or a font color- each permission with independent usergroup control.

Both versions include a "Live Preview" option allowing users to instantly see the effect of their changes before saving.

Both versions automatically add the options in Settings -> General Settings page, at the bottom, for users with permission.

In both versions all options font (and color/ size in gold) are independently controllable by usergroup permissions, so for example you could let registered users pick a font, mods pick a font AND color, and VIP users pick a font, color, and size.

You can add or remove available fonts from the list in Admin CP.

In the Gold version you can add/remove available colors and you can set a range of allowable font sizes.

[Mod 4.x] BB Code Hider Lite

This mod hides or removes the contents of the CODE BB Code from usergroups of your choice in both posts and private messages.

* FEATURES *

  • Control who can view [code] by usergroup.
  • Replace the viewed contents in [code] with a message of your choice.
  • Completely remove [code] from view.


NOTE: This mod has been tested on vB 4.0.7, 4.1.4, 4.1.5 and 4.1.7. It may or may not work on versions earlier than 4.0.7. Please let me know what vB version you are running if there is a problem.

If after one or two views you can no longer see the CODE, that means your server is caching the content of the page. THIS IS NOT A BUG WITH BB Code Hider Lite. Content caching should NOT be used on dynamic pages such as those created by vBulletin.

Turn off content caching on your server.

1) Import the product XML file (product-bbchide.xml) into the Product Manager in AdminCP.

2) Go to AdminCP->Settings->Options->BB Code Hider Lite Settings, turn on the hider and setup the options.

[Mod 4.x.x] Digital Point Chat

About
This is a simple, pseudo realtime chat system for vBulletin 4.

I tossed this together today real quick as a test of something and figured that people might have some use for it.

Installation

  • Put the chat.php file in your forum folder.
  • Put the digitalpoint_chat.js file in your clientscript folder.
  • Install the product-dp_chat.xml product under AdminCP -> Plugins & Products -> Manage Products -> Add/Import Product
You can find setting for it under AdminCP -> Options -> Settings -> Digital Point Chat
It has full unicode support so non-latin based languages work as well.

[Mod 4.1.x] Last Poster Avatar

This mod ads last posters' avatars next to their names on Forumdisplay pages. I've just finished a section of one of my bigger mods to come, and thought that some of you may just need this little enhancement on their forums. If so, feel free to download and test it.
Features
Not too many features for now, it's a pretty straight forward mod. I'm always open to your suggestions though.

So far:
- Display last poster avatars on forumbits (forumhome and forumdisplay) and in threadbits.
- Admin settings to enable display of last poster avatars in certain areas or disable globally.
- Set an avatar size to best match the layout.
- Choose a default avatar to display when user doesn't have one or display no avatar at all.










Installation
Import [phpdesk.com]-product-lpavatar.xml via AdminCP > Plugin System > Manage Products > [Add/Import Product]
Settings
No settings at this point. I'm sure some of you will ask how to enable this feature on certain forums only, and I'm going to work on that as soon as I get some time to spend on this mod to enhance it further. Please be patient in the meantime, my current schedule is overloaded.

Members Who Have Visited Today

Options And Features:
* The ability to turn it on/off.
* The ability to turn just the display on/off.
* The ability to allow (or prevent) certain usergroups viewing the display.
* The ability to switch between 'Today' and Rolling 24 Hours display (default).
* The script that the member is running is logged (e.g. showthread, usercp etc).
* The request variables in use are logged (e.g. threadid, userid etc).
* The member visits table can be cleaned of old records to help control it's size.
* Member Views data collection - tracking each members viewing of the forum index page, forums and threads.
* Member Views data collection can be separately disabled.
* Multiple member visits to the same page are logged separately.
* Clicking on the main display icon will list the recent visits by all members (if allowed).
* Clicking on a member in the main display will show that members viewing data (if enabled, and you have permission).
* Clicking on the "Total members that have visited" line will list all members who have visited and their last action.
* The option to keep a record of [and display] the most ever members can be enabled.
* Usergroup permissions are done with the standard vbulleten usergroup permissions system.
* The display can be set as always collapsed on initial page load (4.0.4 +)

Four new usergroup permissions are provided in the usergroup manager.

* Can View the Members Visited Display - Members can view the members visited display on Forumhome.
* Can View Member IP Addresses - Members can see the ip addresses of visiting members.
* Can View Member Visits List - Members can view the list of member visits page.
* Can View Member Tracking Data -Members can view the individual member visit tracking page.

* All (non usergroup) modification settings are in vBulletin Options > Member Tracking

Install:
Unzip the XML files.
